Shay the Leprechaun

Shay the Leprechaun

and the tale of Saint Patrick’s Day

Leprechauns for years have been cautioned about the 16th of March as it is the only time of year you can traditionally catch a Leprechaun. With no invisibility brooch… we are conspicuous!

Mortals,

Maddeningly, after 1,400 years, I am forced to communicate with you. I am the first Leprechaun to be snared in a trap since Harvey O’Hanlon in 1876, who subsequently fled to America. Captured by mini-mortals, I had to promise to relate 7 tales from my world to yours to secure my release.

Mortals would be best not to read these books, especially mini mortals with their big imaginations. Leprechauns are solitary and we like to keep our affairs quiet. The books, in fact, were my P.A. Gwendolina’s idea, as my captor requested faerie dust!! Naturally, we had to come up with an alternative. Seven books are promised and a Leprechaun never breaks a promise.
